Day 13 of chapter 2 - Doccie trailer complete!!!

So finally!!
After a couple of sleepless nights I got to finish my documentary trailer... whoah! this excitement just CANNOT stay contained..lol! The general idea of the project was to shoot and edit 1 minute of a documentary or movie trailer.

I decided I wanted my documentary to cover contemporary performance art... I shot sooo many scenes that I never eventually got to use coz my clip would have become too busy, so I ended up focusing only on dance but the rest of the footage will also be edited and put up online as the entire doccie.. I just hope I find the time to do that, shot and archived tons of interviews and dance scenes, even an entire theatre performance at the hex together with the change room action *chuckle* had couple girls nude in the cam almost got a beat down for that footage.

Really enjoyed Tara's trailer she did some whacky stuff with the edits, the clip was was pretty kifff!! Here's what Tara put together, hers was a horror movie trailer...... We finished our projects around the same time and so decided I'd share hers here in this blog too coz I really loved what she did with it.. believe it or not. she shot and edited the ENTIRE thang yo..

Today I'll be finishing up the editing of one last video and hopefully get to put it up by tomorrow morning. Nothing extraordinary took place in the space between yesterday and today actually, I worked right through last night, kinda went to bed at 4am and woke up at 10am missed my morning class again and rushed off to submit my first project of the semester with hair all fuzzy n shit. This week I'll be putting up a lot of videos up in here, I really loved Tara's movie trailer so I loaded up on my youtube account as well so you guys can enjoy!!

I did a bit of acting in Siya and Macs movie trailers so I'll be putting those up as well soon as they've completed their editing. Discovered a really cool Indie band on youtube last night that makes really creepy music, I'd love to do a couple covers of their stuff coz that music really rocks!!

We made 200 views on this video as a mark of reception and the viewing goal was reached. Decided to throw it in here as well.. ENJOY!!
