Day 20 - 'Corner Cypher stuff!!'

Today was refreshing. I hung out with Ty Ramaan all day listening to beats and writing new stuff. To think this dude comes back from London over visa problems is just crazy cool .. I was happy to be working with somebody who had that much of a story to tell about his journey in music. It's always interesting to meet other artists, his instrumentals were all naturally made. He never samples on any of his beats he plays the guitar, the drums and the piano and we made magic in studio today.

I threw together something playful off a Busta Rhymes beat from my cellphone as warm up, before we started writing and recording to new and original stuff. Went psycho on this right here and real excited about sharing material online after such a long period of complete silence from me...

Here's that link to the warm up jammo... http://www.datafilehost.com/d/5a983697

took me hours to get that up on datafile host I was so impatient to share my bars that I took to soundcloud and reverbnation also which i wasnt supposed to do cos from here I can actually keep count of how many people are downloading the stuff... On soundcloud and reverbnation the numbers don;t work the same way. But yeah this is what I did with my day today..... u have no idea just how much... it was like i had sugar or sumthing the way i was so jittery in studio cos i hadn't recorded nuthing in sooo very long

I recorded two tracks, the other one I didn't put out online cos its still a work in progress and there's no hook there yet and stuff, but yeah.. too very exciting!!

What inspires that stuff? really I wouldn't know... but I do find the raw, uncut street vibe really cool and that random corner situation where everybody brings their bars to the circle is just crazy and I enjoy that space of sharing material like that. So the fact that the rough run was so flat, raw and uncut with no hook and no nothing was a pure reflection of those type of vibes. Thats what I find hot! and cool... that what i think is inspirational and proper.. there's very little 'faking'that you could get away with in an environment like that.

There space where there are no manufactured artists and everybody is just genuine!!!!
