Day 3: of motoring the dream.... Rise, Build, Grind and advance!!

The day started off in panic as I woke up revising last nights study notes for the politics paper that waited for me at 9am. Plato's political theories were not all that confusing but what scares us all about test papers is being tested on a section you didn't focus too much on. I rolled out of bed at 7 and started getting ready, looked out the window as the first thing I did. The weather was ok for a simple shirt and crop pants.

Hot rice and sausage for breakfast at a time in the month where milk is nowhere to be found. The only thing going through my mind at the time is 'get the test over and done with'. Previous night I was thinking about drawing up a time sheet to help me keep to time plans and working schedules, lot less stupid moments to blog about.

My story continues.... wrote that paper wasn't bad at all and I still can't believe how long it has taken me to settle into the new working routines. It's like a person is constantly in mode laze-around. Your mind goes crazy with this stuff sometimes. The only reason I get so caught up in things must be how much of an ideas person I am, it is like one person is never in the here and the now. Minds too imaginative to exist in just one space. It can be a bit of a curse 'coz it makes up one more thing to fight off in your pursuit of a stable productive life. I want a career that affords me enough financial freedoms to live a quality life. I'd love to say this is all about the art, but that would be unrealistic. that makes up one part of the bigger picture. The whole is more about waking up each day excited about the work that you'v got to do. If there's no good in a rebel without a cause, there certainly should also be no good in a creative without a cause too. It is just ridiculous how many kate out here that don't really know what they'r doing. It's like rap is just this cool thing to do no thought no nothing behind it.

Work station always crowded 'coz there's just always something to do. Yesterday I was thinking around structuring my life better so I could get more things done. Gaining leverage over the hours must be in developing a vision so enticing that it draws you in it enough to drive you through the efforts that need to be done with your eyes closed. I remember lighting a yellow candle, sleep was on strike again and too much was going on in my mind to really close my eyes.

The relationship I have with my father I had no idea had any kind of influence with all the other male folks I meet in my life. Kats are retarded though it just feels like I've been meeting rotten eggs all of my life! Today N.AR recruited a new writer, Kananelo Nthoroane joined the NutsAboutRap team today and I did a bit of visual work for that on campus.

She'll be specializing in a street fashion column in the blog, big ups to her for bringing her writing skills in to join us moving. Still pushing those sponsorship pitches to expand the brand and make it bigger, but things are about to get real now with the arts department of the institution giving away project start up capital for really good ideas. I could polish mine a bit more and then see how it goes on that first ledge. More of these going up in here first and then I'll put them up on Facebook the minute the network stops pms'ing!

I thought that this one was really cool because of how her gaze held you in, intact I still prefer this one over the first one. 'Art Out Loud' column coming at ya!! can't wait to see what this mamis got cooked up for us in her column I sure do look forward to it.

Once I was done with these I decided to work on a new footer image for the reality blog, something chilled and presenting the concept in a couple of words.

 There's something about black white and red that I simply can't get over.
It was after these that a new idea struck... it would be great to experiment with photography a little more illustrating the day as i go going from selfie portraits to the professional shinding. I still need to figure out exactly how I am going to be able to work and still bring character and personality out of my narratives regularly. sigh.... It will all come together though.

This month we had organized to profile an extremely skilled emcee, we dealing with veterans now haha! but yeah, we still waiting on that LP release from which day we'll be publishing the article and letting the dawgs out!!
