#LyricsOnTheScreen

On a Thursday off from work last week I decided to open up adobe premiere and see what I could keep busy with. I played missioning prayer in the background for the first time since the work was recorded. I was beginning to hear cracks, noisy distortions and little faults and things that I could have done better with the over all delivery and composition of the work.
I spoke to a friend about re-working the piece and she made me realise something very important, this entire journey I'm on is supposed to be about growth and personal evolution - not perfection.

Seeing yourself going from one place to another and consistently growing in your craft as you go along is part of the magic. It shouldn't ever be about the perfect composition to the point of obscurity, but rather about whether a composition is a true reflection of the time and space you are in at the moment or not, do you hear and see your life and your personal experiences in the work?

If we were not painting with our words and re-living truths with our mouths
what were such personal and intricate compositions for?
Just a bunch of random and meaningless - I think not!!

This piece of work is about getting up in the morning, asking for light and protection and then going about your missions.

That when you focus on something and think about it constantly, you bring it into your life.

There's a lyric vid, posted up in the Nuhtkayz facebook page where you can have a cool #lyricsOnTheSCreen experience with the misiioning prayer composition.
look out for more of those, hopefully they get better an better.
