Performing live @ Nikkis Oasis

Thursday night was the first time I was performing free-spirit live on stage, it was such an intimate gathering of a show. I enjoyed being on that stage and sharing my work with such a receptive, open and chilled crowd of people.
They knew the lyrics and the hooks and were singing and rapping along with me every now and again, it was so crazy and so magical... There was nothing like it, I connected so much with this crowd they took me to so many different places at once. I loved it!!!

The whole time I was looking into the crowd, I would think to myself that so many of us are living below and not above the stuff in our minds. We are that generation that has the power to make real change, in our own damn lives at that! I feel like we need to start talking about the ways in which we can re-configure our mental settings & belief systems... all that stuff that creates the energy fields we inhabit, all of those electrical magnetic waves that we send out into the universe. That stuff is so damn important because that is the stuff that makes up the fabric of the realities that we exist within.

A freespirit to me means a person who has broken free, a person who is no longer just a product of their environment, their past, their socio-political or economic background. A person who has unlocked, learned & mastered the art of re-configuring the settings in their own minds and be above & beyond the stuff in their minds.

Every morning I wake up and this is my life's greatest aspiration, the vision I carry for future generations to develop and supersede. It's a beautiful human power to embrace and grow into.
