The Purple taste volume 2 Mixtape

The purple taste volume 2 is the second iteration of instrumental beats created by Jackson and Ill-methodology, the tape has contributions from Nuhtkayz, Jaybee The Designer and Gin-Daily from the Pretoria Collective.

 The artwork best depicted the image that Jackson had for the  Purple Taste, it was only fitting for the designs be illustrated by Jaybee, who did not fall short with his work. Incorporating signs that spell P-U-R-P-L-E.

The concept started off as a project that was aimed to make a collection of instrumental beats by various artists and release them under the ImaginaryArtists brand and initiative.
The Albums boasts a unique sense nostalgia.

Jackson in partnership with Ill-methodology chose to work on this project in pursuit of combining sampling techniques and visions with a unified sense of integrity. They seemed to have no opposing judgement on whether they should give it out to the public for free or not, art for arts sake.

The album has skits worked on by both Ill-methodology and Jackson, more songs than those that were found in the 1st album, the increase in support for the project meant that both these artists were no longer restricted as Jackson was on the 1st album, more legroom I would say.

The album was released on the 20th of July 2017, with 17 tracks sampled and mastered to perfection
