I remember coming back to my place with this sad idea of looking up self help videos about the particular sham I was in at that moment. I stumbled onto this interesting video online, I ended up listening to this women telling me about the ways in which I could balance myself out; energise and recharge myself by earthing; reconnecting with nature and absorbing all the yin energy on the surface of the earth.
It didn't all make sense at first but I knew that all the frustration, doom and gloom I was feeling was all a result of low energy. I was feeling tired, fatigued, worn out and overworked so the idea of energising and recharging really had me in.
2 days later I started seeing this enriching, nourishing, fulfilling and energised life in my mind and instantly decided that I was going to live that stuff and work out the rest of the details along the way.
Where does one really begin in this complex subject of energy when there are so many different types and forms of that stuff on this very planet, from nuclear to sound; heat; motion and light.
That stuff is just everywhere!!
The best place to start would be with ourselves, our own bodies and the energy that flows through us and how we use it to mobilise ourselves and to exist. I base every little thing on subjective experiences because I don't believe in objective writing, if experience is the best teacher , you could never accumulate true wisdom through other peoples collective theories, ideas and predictions. Sometimes you just need to see shit from your own view to have a solid understanding of it.
My fascination with energy comes from wanting to know and understand why I'd be energised by a certain type of person and then depleted or exhausted by another, I want to be able to explain that phenomena, more especially to myself. It's important to me to know what kind of energies I gravitate to and why, as well as those that I'm not drawn to and why that is so. It must be an energy thing!
This fascination also comes from a desire to map out the patterns of my own dating preferences, wanting to understand why I find myself attracted to a particular kind of person and not to the ones I wish I felt some type of attraction for because they're so readily available to me at all times that maybe I'd b able to live out the reality of the kind of companionship I want and crave. One where there's a solid connection; a mutual understanding and a fiery attraction and desire for each other. It must be an energy thing too, an explanation must be there.
Now for getting into this energy talk, we have 7 energy centers in our bodies. We call these centers chakras which means ' spinning wheel of energy'. We can think of these 7 chakras as invisible rechargeable batteries in our bodies that can get charged and re-charged through contact with the stream of cosmic energy in the atmosphere.
Now I won't get into the specifics too much cos you can just look them up on your own in anyway, but I'll give you all the names of these wheels so you can go look into them.
The 7 chakras:
1- Root Chakra - base of the spine- Red
2- Sacral Chakra - below navel- Orange
3- Solar Plexus Chakra - Stomache area- Yellow
4- Heart Chakra - Center of chest - Green
5- Throat Chakra- base of thrat - Blue
6- Third eye Chakra - forehead above eyes- indigo
7- Crown Chakra- top of head - Violet.
Understanding my energy centers and knowing where they are really helps me in harnessing the power of self- nourishment, being able to energise my own self and get to walk around feeling like I'm in love whether I am or not. The ability to create your own fulfillment is a power,
If we are going to successfully polarize back into our feminine energy, we need to first know and understand exactly how this energy thing works and the ways in which it flows in and out of our very bodies.
This is the first post on this secret fascination of mine
I will be posting more & sharing in all of my personal experiences along the way on this journey of uncovering an enriching, nourishing and energised life for myself and those open to going down this road with me.
Even more excited about exploring a million ways to recharge!!
